Collinsville Area Singing Team
The Collinsville Area Singing Team (aka C.A.S.T.) is a fairly new group that began in May of 1997, in Collinsville, Il. It is sponsored by the Collinsville Area Recreation District. C.A.S.T. is made up of kids ages 11-14 who all share a special common interest, singing. Auditions are held at the end January and the kids that make it start rehearsals in February. They practice very hard one night a week until the end of May when it's time for them to start performing. With the help of their director, stage manager, choreographer, and sound tech, they pull together a 40-minute show they'll perform at various places throughout the summer. They have performed at the Illinois State Fair, St. Clair County Fair, and the Collinsville Italian Fest. So and check back often to see when and where they will be performing and to see the latest pictures.
